As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping materials with accuracy and speed. Key Responsibilities:
- Unload and receive incoming materials and verify shipments.
- Stock inventory in appropriate locations, maintaining order and accessibility.
- Accurately pick items according to order specifications.
- Pack materials securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification preferred).
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and participate in cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is a plus.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Willingness to follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
