Join our growing team as a Warehouse Associate in beautiful Virginia Beach, Virginia! We are looking for motivated individuals to assist with the daily operations of our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include receiving and processing inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing them for shipment. This role is essential for maintaining the smooth flow of goods through our facility and ensuring customer satisfaction. A strong commitment to workplace safety and efficient logistics is paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Stock inventory accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick customer orders using order lists or scanning equipment.
- Pack orders carefully and efficiently, ensuring product protection.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate manual and powered equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies, including mandatory use of PPE .
- Participate in inventory cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational targets.
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform tasks involving bending and reaching.
- Capability of Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics .
- Commitment to following all health and safety regulations.
