We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician for our Kansas City, Missouri location to ensure the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse facilities and equipment. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of warehouse machinery, including forklifts, conveyors, and automated systems. The Warehouse Technician will also be responsible for performing preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure operational readiness. You will work closely with the logistics team to address equipment-related issues that impact workflow and productivity. A strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems is required, along with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex problems. Safety is our top priority; therefore, adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. This role requires the ability to perform tasks involving moderate to heavy lifting and working in various warehouse environments. You will contribute to the overall efficiency and reliability of our logistics operations through your technical expertise. Key responsibilities include: Performing routine inspections and maintenance on warehouse equipment. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues. Installing and commissioning new equipment. Maintaining detailed records of maintenance and repairs. Ensuring all equipment operates in compliance with safety standards. Training other staff on basic equipment operation and safety protocols. Adhering to all safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and the use of required PPE. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and preventative maintenance strategies is essential. This is a critical role in supporting our logistics infrastructure and ensuring a productive work environment.
