We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift safely and efficiently to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our distribution center. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, handling a variety of products and materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to safety protocols. Your responsibilities will include performing pre-operation checks on forklifts, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining an organized work area. We value precision and attention to detail in all aspects of our logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and onto shelves.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Ensure all products are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
- Must be comfortable with occasional heavy Lifting, up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a forklift operator with valid certification. Familiarity with warehouse procedures and safety guidelines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong work ethic and reliability. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that involve significant Lifting. Your role is vital to our Logistics network.
