Your responsibilities will include unloading shipments, verifying product against purchase orders, inspecting for damages, and properly documenting all received items. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming freight from trucks and verify against shipping manifests.
- Inspect goods for any damages or discrepancies.
- Accurately document all received items in the inventory system.
- Route incoming stock to appropriate storage locations.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and utilize appropriate PPE.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in receiving or inventory control is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and data entry.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and proper use of PPE.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for logistics coordination.
