We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, ensuring that all stock is accounted for, organized, and readily available. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inventory management principles, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to upholding our high standards of operational efficiency. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, investigating stock adjustments, and implementing process improvements to minimize errors. You will work closely with the warehouse management team to identify trends, forecast inventory needs, and optimize stock rotation. A key part of this role involves utilizing our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory movements, generate reports, and maintain accurate records. We expect all team members to adhere strictly to safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when handling materials. This position requires the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are essential. Familiarity with various warehouse operations and the flow of goods within a logistics network is highly beneficial. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Implement and monitor inventory control procedures.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure stock availability.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and proper use of PPE .
- Manage stock rotation and prevent obsolescence.
- Prepare inventory reports for management.
- Assist with warehouse organization and layout optimization.
