We are seeking a skilled and dependable Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Orlando, Florida. You will collaborate closely with warehouse staff, supervisors, and management to achieve daily operational goals. - Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Perform pre-operation inspections on forklifts to ensure they are in good working order.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and production.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, such as sweeping, organizing, and minor repairs.
- Identify and report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors immediately.
- Ensure efficient and organized storage of materials within the warehouse.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Comply with all lifting requirements and guidelines for safe material handling.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management principles.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
