About
We are seeking energetic Warehouse Workers to join our team in Detroit, Michigan. This role is critical for our logistics and distribution efforts, involving the efficient movement and management of products within our facility. You will perform a range of tasks, including receiving goods, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for shipment. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and dedicated to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a busy and essential operation. Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and store incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick products according to order tickets or scanner prompts.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring protection against damage.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area according to OSHA standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, including the use of required PPE.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to meet daily targets.
- Report any workplace hazards or concerns promptly.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior warehouse or manual labor experience is a plus.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the shift.
- Capability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
- Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles is beneficial.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety regulations.
