Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming inventory, verifying accuracy against purchase orders.
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring correct items and quantities are selected.
- Stage outgoing shipments for carriers.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including work stations and common areas.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any damaged goods or discrepancies to management immediately.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Follow all guidelines related to Lifting and material handling to prevent injuries.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior warehouse experience is a plus, but not required. Ability to perform physical tasks, including regular Lifting of up to 50 pounds. Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Must be willing to wear appropriate PPE. A proactive approach to safety is essential for this role.
