Job Summary:
Join our team as a skilled Forklift Operator in Raleigh, North Carolina! Your primary responsibility will be operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, transport inventory, and assist with stocking and retrieval of goods. Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up) to move materials.
  • Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
  • Transport inventory to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
  • Stack and arrange materials in designated locations, ensuring stability and safety.
  • Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols and wear required PPE.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock placement.
  • Follow all logistics and site-specific procedures.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs when necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Valid forklift operator certification.
  • Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and equipment gauges.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Physical ability to climb on and off equipment and perform some lifting.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Familiarity with inventory control systems.
  • Understanding of logistics flow.
