As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting inventory within our logistics facility. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, from receiving goods to preparing them for shipment. This position requires precision, a strong understanding of Safety procedures, and the ability to operate various types of forklifts. We maintain a paramount focus on Safety, mandating the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and strict adherence to all Safety protocols. The ideal candidate is reliable, possesses excellent hand-eye coordination, and can perform moderate Lifting. - Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload products from trucks and trailers.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Stack and retrieve products from warehouse shelves.
- Perform routine inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Assist with inventory control, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification is mandatory.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck).
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and awareness of surroundings.
- Commitment to Safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
