Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials.
- Perform pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and other items within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trailers efficiently and accurately.
- Assist with inventory management, including putting away stock and cycle counts.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all logistics operational standards and performance metrics.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills and a commitment to safety.
