This position requires a strong commitment to Safety, including performing daily equipment checks and adhering to all company Safety protocols. The mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is essential to protect yourself and others. The role involves regular physical activity, including substantial Lifting and maneuvering of goods. We seek candidates with excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of warehouse operations. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move inventory safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Place materials in designated storage areas and assist with inventory management.
- Perform routine pre-operation inspections and maintenance on forklifts.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and utilize required PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification is mandatory.
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety standards.
- Commitment to wearing PPE and following Safety protocols.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs) and physical tasks.
- Strong understanding of logistics and warehouse procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
