Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Warehouse Coordinator to manage the daily operations of our facility in Washington, D.C. This role demands strong leadership qualities and the ability to oversee all aspects of warehouse activities, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and staff supervision. The Warehouse Coordinator will ensure that all logistics processes are efficient, accurate, and compliant with safety standards. You will be responsible for optimizing workflow, managing staff schedules, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This is a key position that requires a comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to operational excellence. Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to procedures.
  • Implement and enforce all safety regulations and protocols, including proper use of PPE.
  • Develop and optimize workflows to improve efficiency in logistics.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain equipment and facilities, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly.
  • Monitor shipping and receiving activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Promote a culture of safety, emphasizing safe Lifting practices and accident prevention.
