Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or digital lists.
- Verify picked items against order requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages with shipping information.
- Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding area.
- Assist with receiving and stocking inventory as needed.
- Contribute to inventory management by reporting discrepancies.
- Adhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Support overall logistics operations by completing assigned tasks in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Previous picking and packing experience is beneficial.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs frequently.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to safety and following instructions regarding PPE.
- Team player with good communication skills.
