Your work will directly contribute to the health and happiness of countless families enjoying our products. Key Responsibilities: Receive and log laboratory samples with care. Prepare standard solutions and reagents for testing. Maintain inventory of laboratory materials to ensure readiness. Perform routine maintenance and calibration of lab equipment. Monitor product quality for compliance with specifications. Conduct sensory evaluations to verify flavor profiles. Execute microbiological and chemical analyses using established methods. Document and analyze test results, generating reports as needed. Assist in training other QA personnel in lab practices. Participate in audits and other QA functions on the production floor. Desired Skills and Qualifications: Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet applications. Strong understanding of arithmetic, algebra, and statistics. Ability to solve problems using scientific methods. Experience in product inspections to assess quality and performance. Education & Experience: Two years of college education or a degree in food microbiology or a related field is preferred. High School Diploma is preferred. Prior experience in food manufacturing is a plus. Butterball is an equal opportunity employer.
