We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring that all goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently and accurately. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be an integral part of our logistics network, handling a variety of tasks to maintain the smooth flow of inventory. Your responsibilities will include receiving shipments, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for delivery. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all company policies and procedures, and contributing to a safe and productive workplace. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this position. We value teamwork and encourage open communication among all team members.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming inventory, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders for shipment.
- Stock received goods in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided if needed).
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Follow all company guidelines for handling and storing products.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to inventory immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and ensure efficient workflow.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and PPE .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of Safety in all activities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic reading and math skills.
