Job Summary:
Miami, Florida is looking for a sharp Inventory Control Specialist to join our warehousing team! This critical role focuses on ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and organization of our inventory. You will be responsible for tracking stock levels, conducting regular audits, investigating discrepancies, and implementing strategies to minimize errors. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of warehouse operations and logistics. We are committed to providing a safe working environment and require strict adherence to all Safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE. Your contributions will directly impact our operational efficiency and profitability.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across all warehouse locations.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
  • Implement and manage inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Track the movement of goods within the warehouse, ensuring all transactions are recorded promptly and accurately.
  • Coordinate with receiving, picking, packing, and shipping departments to ensure seamless inventory flow.
  • Manage the return process, including inspection and restocking of returned items.
  • Ensure all warehouse personnel adhere to Safety standards and proper PPE usage.
  • Generate reports on inventory accuracy, stock levels, and other key performance indicators.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
  • Knowledge of logistics operations and supply chain principles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform moderate physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 30 pounds.
  • Understanding and commitment to workplace Safety and the correct use of PPE.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
