About
TAHO is looking to add a licensed RVT to our team of professionals. Our team prides themselves on the high level of customer service and medical care that they provide. This level of care is what sets our organization apart from others and is what TAHO is primarily known for. Candidate must enjoy talking with and developing relationships with our clients and must be dedicated to working with each client as an individual to fill their needs.
TAHO is a mission driven animal welfare organization with a focus on accessible/affordable high quality medical care. Our hospital is fast-paced and high-volume. Our services include high-volume spay/neuter, routine wellness, urgent/emergency care, dental care and surgery, radiology, in-house diagnostics, general and emergency surgery, 24 hour inpatient care/hospitalization, end-of-life care/hospice and euthanasia, and more.
We are seeking a _*licensed technician*_ who has a passion for animal health and welfare. Our mission is to ensure all patients are able to receive the medical care they require regardless of their owner's financial status. We are seeking an individual who shares our level of compassion and dedication to this mission and our community.
This position will be focused primarily on the medical side of the practice (outpatient appointments) and less on the surgical side; however, the experience in surgical preparation, assisting, and recovery is appreciated. Although the majority of our patients are canine/feline, ideal candidate will be experienced in or willing to learn some exotic animal care.
Responsibilities include: Initiating/triage of outpatient appointments, supporting/assisting attending DVM to complete exams/appointments, laboratory and pharmacy duties, managing technician appointments, assisting with inpatient care, etc.
Schedule is 9a-5p M-F *(non-negotiable)*.
Experienced technicians are preferred, but new graduates who have passed the VTNE and are licensed in the state of Ohio are welcome and encouraged to apply.
