About
You will be expected to directly contribute to the company’s success by growing market data as a source of revenue. Executing on sales and creating marketing pitches and material as well as covering existing trading clients you will develop new market data clients, services, and products.
You will be responsible for interacting directly with clients, redistributors, analytics firms, and other consumers of data. Generating leads, negotiating, and closing contracts. You will also be expected to work closely and partner with multiple internal teams within LMAX Group, including business heads, liquidity sales, marketing, technology, finance, and other groups.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Own the full enterprise Sales cycle and drive market data sales: prospecting, qualification, discovery, demo/POC, commercial negotiations and close, including cross‑selling data sales into existing client relationships.
Work with the wider teams as required including Sales, Product, Marketing, Operations, IT/Development and Finance to execute on the commercial plan for optimizing market data revenue.
Initiate and develop new market data relationships including redistribution vendors, funds, brokers and analytics providers.
Meaningfully contribute to the global sales, revenue, and volume targets, as well as on an individual basis.
Must have experience with FX or Exchange Data distribution.

Increased market data revenue
Effective partnering with wider Sales and Product teams to ensure continued focus on data revenue lines.
Enhanced branding and awareness in the institutional marketplace.
Develop an in-depth knowledge of the company, culture, and products.
Build and manage relationships across LMAX Institutional client base.
Requirements
Market Data Sales Expertise: Proven track record in spearheading the commercialization and revenue growth of proprietary or exchange market data/analytics products.
Domain Knowledge: Direct, substantial experience within the FX (Foreign Exchange) data distribution space is mandatory. Familiarity with Crypto or future product data landscapes is a strong asset.
Full Sales Cycle Ownership: Demonstrated success in owning the entire enterprise sales cycle for data services, from prospecting and lead generation through negotiation and closing complex contracts.
APAC Business Development: Verifiable experience in establishing and scaling a new revenue stream or business vertical from the ground up within the APAC institutional market.
Client & Vendor Management: Experience in managing and negotiating relationships with key data consumers, including institutional clients, redistributors, analytics firms, and vendors.
Internal Partnership: Experience collaborating cross‑functionally with Sales, Product, Technology, and Finance teams to execute commercial plans.
