Le Specialità is a renowned Milanese trattoria making its U.S. debut in Miami's Design District. Rooted in over 40 years of Italian culinary tradition, we specialize in handmade pastas, classic Milanese dishes, and authentic pizzas, delivered with warm hospitality in a vibrant, design-forward setting. Our mission is to honor Italian simplicity while creating a dynamic guest experience that reflects both Milan and Miami.

Position Overview

The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all front-of-house operations while working closely with culinary leadership to ensure excellence in service, quality, and profitability. This role is hands-on, guest-focused, and ideal for a hospitality professional passionate about Italian cuisine, team development, and elevated yet approachable service.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Service

  • Lead daily food and beverage operations, ensuring seamless service and consistent guest experiences


  • Maintain service standards that reflect the Le Specialità brand and Italian hospitality values


  • Actively engage on the floor during service to support staff and guests

Team Leadership

  • Hire, train, coach, and schedule FOH staff (servers, bartenders, hosts)


  • Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment


  • Conduct performance evaluations and support staff development

Financial & Inventory Management

  • Manage labor costs, scheduling efficiency, and productivity


  • Oversee beverage program execution (wine, cocktails, beer, non-alcoholic offerings)


  • Control inventory, ordering, and cost of goods for food & beverage


  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and P&L performance

Guest Experience

  • Handle guest feedback and resolve issues with professionalism and care


  • Build relationships with regular guests and the local community


  • Ensure cleanliness, ambiance, and service flow meet brand standards

Compliance & Standards

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations


  • Maintain proper opening/closing procedures and cash handling controls

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Food & Beverage Manager or similar leadership role


  • Strong background in full-service, high-volume or upscale casual restaurants


  • Knowledge of Italian cuisine and wine is highly preferred


  • Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills


  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays


  • POS and inventory management experience


  • Valid food safety and alcohol certifications (or ability to obtain)
