About
Mari, a Michelin-starred Korean Hand Roll fine-dining restaurant, seeks a seasoned culinary professional to spearhead its back-of-house operations.
We are looking for an exceptional team player who can effectively manage inventory, train staff, and create menus that showcase our unique blend of traditional Korean flavors and globally inspired techniques.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the management team to ensure seamless day-to-day operations in the kitchen
- Provide top-notch customer service by greeting guests, explaining menus, and communicating effectively
- Develop and implement training programs to uphold company standards and policies
- Oversee the purchasing and inventory process to maintain high-quality ingredients
- Prepare food safely and efficiently according to specifications
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene codes
- Conceptualize and refine menus based on seasonal availability and culinary trends
- Availability for major holidays and peak periods
- At least 2 years of experience in high-volume kitchens
- Proven track record in fine dining kitchens
- Passion for Korean cuisine and commitment to innovation
- Excellent communication skills and sense of urgency
