Senior Culinary Director

This is a hands-on leadership role built for a chef who wants real ownership over a menu—while working alongside an experienced hospitality team. Our focus is on creating a culinary program that pairs seasonal food with California wine to tell a story and create an experience guests come back for.

• Develop and execute a wine-forward menu strategy: core offerings + rotating seasonal features
• Create tasting menus, wine dinners, and private event menus that complement the wine program
• Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations: standards, prep systems, cleanliness, ordering, and service execution
• Lead and manage a team: hiring, training, coaching, and accountability
• Schedule smartly to hit labor goals without sacrificing culture or consistency
• Collaborate with senior management on goals, execution, and growth of the culinary program

The ideal candidate should be confident in recipe and plate costing, food cost control, labor costing, pricing dishes correctly, and building simple systems that make cost and execution easy to track and repeat. We're looking for a seasoned leader with strong fundamentals, people skills, and ability to build structure and create a kitchen culture that lasts.
