Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (various types) to move, stack, and unstack materials.
- Load and unload pallets and goods from trucks and containers.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Follow all company safety policies, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Support the logistics team with other warehouse tasks as assigned.
- Ensure the efficient flow of goods within the facility.
- Adhere to all traffic rules and safety regulations within the warehouse.
Requirements:
- Minimum one year of experience operating a forklift.
- Certification or demonstrated proficiency in forklift operation.
- Ability to handle physical demands, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is beneficial.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team in a logistics environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours if needed.
- A proactive approach to safety and problem-solving.
