Overview:
The Quality Assurance Inspector will work closely with the site Quality Manager or Quality Field Operations Manager, while also receiving guidance from the Sr. Manager of Quality Control. This role is essential for conducting and documenting inspections that comply with the approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs). Quality Assurance Inspectors ensure that all reports are accurately documented and easily traceable to their field locations, thus reducing reporting errors. Excellent communication skills are vital for building positive relationships with owners, their representatives, and the Company’s site supervision to further our quality objectives. Travel:
Travel required up to 100%. This role necessitates being present directly on Project Site locations. Company Overview:

Essential Job Functions: Deep understanding of various construction processes and terminology, including testing laboratory protocols, soils and concrete testing, asphalt paving, structural steel, welding, and general construction inspections. Detail-oriented approach to assist the project team in ensuring complete Project QC documentation and adherence to procedures to mitigate risk. Ability to interpret construction plans and specifications, identifying errors and inconsistencies for resolution by others. Conduct scheduled QA/QC meetings, review logs of deficiencies and punch lists, and maintain clear documentation. Compile reports on inspection activities and handle scheduling with local, state, and third-party testing agencies. Recognize discrepancies between project specifications and standard codes and ensure compliance to protect organizational interests. Consult with the Director of Quality for issues beyond personal expertise. Maintain professionalism in appearance and attitude throughout interactions. Stay updated on job-related certifications. Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a QA/QC role; relevant education may substitute some experience. At least 5 years in a construction environment. Preferred experience with B31.3, clean room procedures, and oxygen cleaning. Proven knowledge of construction trades and extreme proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with construction management software platforms and Bluebeam Revu is essential; experience with Smartsheet and InEight is a plus. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledgeable of Health and Safety programs and project-specific regulations. Strong writing skills for reports and documentation of issues. Effective presentation and communication skills to engage with various stakeholders. Ability to work autonomously, ensuring sufficient resources are assigned and properly trained. Self-motivated and capable of initiative-taking. Critical thinking to implement effective corrective actions for quality incidents. Diplomatic approach in addressing quality and safety issues with stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal skills. Physical Demands: Ability to work up to 12-hour shifts in varying conditions and temperatures. Capacity to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks as needed. Capacity to adapt to uncontrolled environmental conditions. Ability to wear and utilize all required personal protective equipment. Capability to maneuver in confined, cluttered, and uneven areas, including working at heights. Strong visual and auditory acuity for detailed work. Hours:
Full-Time position typically requiring 50 hours per week, subject to project needs.
