Junior Estimator - Cladding

Location: Head Office – 6675 Rexwood Rd, Mississauga, ON L4V 1V1
Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time | Onsite
Anticipated Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Salary: $60,000–$80,000 (based on experience)
Pay Schedule: Paid bi-weekly, every second Friday  

Reports To: Cladding Estimating Manager

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Junior Cladding Estimator to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario and support the preparation of accurate project cost estimates and bid submissions.

What You'll Do

  • Review project documents, including drawings and specifications, to assess scope and requirements
  • Perform quantity take-offs and material estimates using architectural drawings
  • Prepare cost estimates for cladding projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness
  • Submit bids and track project proposals to ensure timely submissions
  • Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing information and negotiate costs
  • Communicate with project managers, site supervisors, and clients to ensure alignment on project scope
  • Use industry-specific software, such as Bluebeam and Microsoft Office, for estimating and documentation
  • Maintain and update cost databases, historical pricing records, and bid tracking systems

What You Bring to the Team

  • Minimum 2 years of estimating experience preferred, ideally in cladding, façade systems, or construction-related fields
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills for cost estimation and quantity take-offs
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and clients
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam (or similar construction software)
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
