The Privacy Program Manager serves as the operational engine of Jumio's global privacy program. This role is responsible for translating privacy and AI governance requirements into actionable project plans, processes, and measurable outcomes. It is a hands-on execution role that supports the Global Head of Privacy and works across Product, Engineering, Support, and other departments to ensure privacy requirements are built into day-to-day operations. This is not a legal advisory role; it is an operational program management position focused on delivery.

By creating structure, driving cross-functional coordination, and implementing scalable governance processes, the Privacy Program Manager ensures Jumio meets evolving regulatory requirements while maintaining operational excellence.
Example Responsibilities- Manage the privacy program's project portfolio, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Use Jira and Confluence to document processes, maintain project tracking, and create dashboards that provide program visibility to leadership.
- Develop, maintain, and report on privacy program metrics and KPIs.
- Oversee Jumio's end-to-end Data Subject Request (DSR) process by coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate responses.
- Maintain privacy policies and procedures and ensure the organization is aware of and aligned with required practices.
- Support the maintenance of Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) and related documentation.
- Project manage AI governance operational requirements, including compliance needs related to the EU AI Act.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders to maintain the company's AI model inventory.
- Coordinate operational activities of the AI Governance Committee such as scheduling, agenda creation, meeting documentation, and tracking action items.
- Drive the implementation of technical and procedural controls required by privacy and AI-related regulations.
- Assist in developing and deploying privacy training and responsible AI training across the company.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed privacy and responsible AI principles into workflows and product development.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in privacy program management, privacy operations, or similar roles.
- Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs.
- Practical understanding of global privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
- Comfort working with technical teams and discussing concepts such as data flows, APIs, or machine learning models.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and partner with diverse stakeholders.
- A strong execution orientation and ability to work independently.
- IAPP AIGP certification or other privacy or AI governance credentials.
- Experience in high-risk data environments such as biometrics, fintech, or healthtech.
- Experience with privacy or governance tools such as Transcend, , Jira, or Confluence.
- Experience working in a fast-paced technology company.
The hiring range for this position includes a base salary from CAD $153,000 to $167,000. This is based on Jumio's Canada national salary band for the role. Geographical adjustment is applied for tier 1 locations and more may be available based on your skills and experience.
