About
* Develop and implement a comprehensive IT infrastructure strategy, with a focus on hybrid cloud solutions and a roadmap for migrating on-premises environments to the cloud (AWS, Azure).
* Collaborate with IT Colleagues and other department heads to ensure a smooth transition to hybrid and cloud environments.
* Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure professionals

* Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of hybrid cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration of on-premises and cloud environments.
* Lead migration projects, including planning, execution, and post-migration optimization, with a focus on minimizing downtime and ensuring data integrity.
* Establish and enforce IT infrastructure standards, policies, and procedures, specifically tailored for hybrid cloud environments.
* Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and availability in both on-premises and cloud environments.
* Implement and enforce security measures specific to hybrid cloud environments, ensuring data security and compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Develop and execute strategies for securing data during the migration process.
* Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget, with a focus on optimizing costs during the migration to the cloud and ongoing hybrid cloud operations.
* Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in hybrid and cloud usage.
* Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with cloud service providers (AWS, Azure) and other technology vendors.
* Work with vendor partners to manage delivery of strategic projects including projects that are part of ongoing managed services
* Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
* Collaborate with other department heads to align IT infrastructure initiatives with overall business goals, emphasizing the strategic role of hybrid cloud and cloud technologies.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on hybrid and cloud projects, issues, and initiatives.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Proven experience (10+ years) in a leadership role overseeing IT infrastructure, with a focus on hybrid cloud solutions and migrating from on-premises to the cloud.
* Strongly prefer candidate with a background within Financial services or Insurance in a strong corporate environment with a regulatory oversight
* Strong technical expertise in network architecture, server infrastructure, and hybrid cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Relevant certifications in AWS or Azure (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
* Familiarity with industry best practices, standards, and compliance requirements.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $125,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
