Schedule: 3 x 12, Full Time Days 6:30am-7pm Hospital: Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown Day shift is now a 4:1 nurse to patient ratio. Come be an integral part of Midtown's Spine Institute - the largest spine program in the region! As a member of the spine care team, you will provide care to patients as they recover from surgeries in our state-of the-art facility. We treat more complex cases than any other hospital, including spinal tumors, scoliosis, and adolescent procedures. Join us in delivering personalized care to help shorten patients' recoveries. Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Licensure / Certification / Registration: Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
