Plumbing Service Technician Do you have what it takes to be a Mr. Rooter Service Technician?
The Plumbing Service Technician is key member of our team, performing service work on plumbing systems in commercial and residential environments. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.
Ideally you have prior experience in the plumbing industry and have proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers. You are self-motivated, thrive in fast moving environments, and able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Works in various installations, repair, maintenance and service capacities individually, and as part of a team.
Diagnosis of malfunctioning equipment to determine cause and appropriate corrective action.
Installs, services, or replaces components including, but not limited too, fixtures, faucets, electric water heaters, water softeners, pumps, and valves.
Performs physically demanding tasks related to installation and repair of plumbing systems.
Completes required documentation (i.e. electronic time sheets, invoices, quotations, plumbing check-ups, etc.) for services performed.
Performs cleaning and maintenance of equipment, tools, materials, and vehicles utilized; ensures adherence to principles and practices of safe equipment use and operation.
Willingly performs other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience is an asset for both plumbing and/or drain cleaning
Must pass a Driver's Abstract and Criminal Background Check as well as possess a valid Driver's License
Must be available to work evenings, weekends and/or shift work.
Must be willing to conduct sales while on service calls.
