*Overview*
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating systems across a variety of residential properties. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong technical background and practical skills in plumbing + heating systems. The successful applicant will be committed to delivering high-quality service, ensuring safety standards are met, and providing solutions tailored to client needs.
*Responsibilities*
* Install, service, commission and repair heating systems including log burners, boilers, radiators, bathrooms, etc
* Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal operation of heating equipment.
* Diagnose faults accurately and implement effective repair solutions promptly.
* Use a range of hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out tasks efficiently.
* Perform welding and plumbing tasks as required during installation or repair processes.
* Carry out builders work related to system installation or modifications.
* Handle heavy lifting safely when moving equipment or materials.
* Maintain detailed records of work carried out and parts used for each project.
* Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations at all times during operations.
* Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified timeframes.
*Skills*
* Proven experience in heating system installation and maintenance.
* Proficiency in all aspects of plumbing, heating, and assembly work.
* Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised mechanical equipment.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
* Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and technical documentation.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
* Experience with commercial driving is desirable but not essential.
* Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £36,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
