Kamatics,
a division of Kaman, is seeking a
Field Sales Engineer
to support the Southcentral region of the United States. This role is responsible for managing accounts within a defined sales territory, servicing existing customers, and developing new business opportunities to drive sales growth and support Kamatics' strategic objectives.
The Field Sales Engineer leverages extensive aerospace industry knowledge to provide technical sales support, develop customer-focused solutions, and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities Identify sales opportunities and growth potential within current and prospective accounts in alignment with Kamatics' marketing and sales strategies. Develop and execute account strategies, sales campaigns, and targeted growth initiatives. Conduct sales calls and deliver technical and commercial presentations to customers at various organizational levels. Manage a defined sales territory and collaborate cross-functionally with internal Kamatics teams to achieve sales targets. Maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts; communicate activities, provide updates, and deliver reports to customers and internal stakeholders. Handle customer inquiries and complaints; coordinate issue resolution with appropriate internal teams. Update and maintain sales presentations and materials to ensure Kamatics remains at the forefront of providing customer-focused solutions. Make recommendations to management regarding new sales initiatives, market opportunities, and territory strategies. Prepare and submit monthly activity and sales reports to management. Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with all safety and environmental procedures and regulations; report safety incidents as required. Recommend improvements to sales processes, tools, and procedures; contribute to 5S initiatives where applicable. Provide a high level of service to internal and external customers while promoting a positive, collaborative team environment. Perform other duties as assigned to support business objectives. Job Accountabilities:
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience
5+ years of technical experience in an Aerospace and/or Military Aviation environment. Demonstrated success in technical sales, account management, or customer-facing engineering roles. Skills & Abilities
Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously Strong capability to interact effectively with senior and executive-level customer stakeholders Analytical thinking and strong business acumen Excellent communication skills (listening, verbal, and written) Customer-focused approach with a solutions-oriented mindset Sound decision-making and initiative Effective negotiation and presentation skills Sales and territory management expertise Travel Requirements
60-80% travel within the assigned territory Additional Requirements
Valid driver's license Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
