Position Summary:
The Sales Operations Analyst supports the sales organization by providing data-driven insights, operational structure and process optimization. This role is responsible for analyzing sales performance, forecasting revenue, managing sales tools and CRM data, and ensuring the sales team has the information and resources needed to meet organizational goals. The analyst partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Customer Success to streamline workflows, improve reporting accuracy and enhance overall sales productivity. This position plays a key role in identifying trends, developing metrics and recommending improvements that drive revenue growth and operations efficiency.
Essential Responsibilities: Extract and analyze data from multiple source systems, identifying anomalies, performing root cause analysis, and providing insights to support decision-making. Identify and interpret trends and patterns within datasets to uncover key business influences. Serve as a data liaison between IT development teams and business stakeholders for the development, enhancement, and implementation of data systems and tools. Plan, monitor, and manage small-scale internal analytics or reporting projects from initiation through completion. Maintain and monitor database functionality and security, including support tools, tables, dictionaries, recovery, and backup procedures. Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve data flow and content issues. Develop and maintain documentation for business system use cases and provide training to business users as needed. Coordinate with IT Business Applications and business users to define business requirements and specifications for reports and dashboards. Identify and resolve data reporting issues in a timely and accurate manner. Develop report specifications and analyses based on business needs and available data elements. Perform ad hoc data requests and analysis to support business decisions. Requirements:
2-3 years of experience in Data Analysis, or Business Analytics. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, charts). Working Knowledge of Salesforce CRM - including report building, dashboard creation, and data management. SQL knowledge preferred but not required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree in business, analytics, or related field preferred.
