Job Summary:
Are you a skilled Forklift Operator seeking a challenging role? We are actively recruiting in San Antonio, Texas! As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to manage the movement of materials within our distribution center. This includes loading and unloading trailers, transporting goods to and from storage, and assisting with inventory management. Your role is critical to our logistics operations, ensuring product flow and warehouse organization. Safety is paramount; strict adherence to all safety regulations and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This is a key position in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach) safely and productively.
  • Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers efficiently.
  • Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
  • Stack and stage inventory accurately.
  • Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of equipment and report any issues.
  • Assist with inventory cycle counts and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Support the overall logistics team in achieving operational targets.
  • Adhere to all traffic and safety rules within the facility.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
  • Valid forklift certification or the ability to obtain one.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Excellent safety record and understanding of safety best practices.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
