Seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to oversee operations in our Washington, D.C. facility. This pivotal role ensures the efficient and accurate flow of goods within our logistics network. Responsibilities include managing inventory levels, coordinating shipments, supervising warehouse staff, and implementing effective Safety procedures. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, optimizing warehouse layout, and ensuring compliance with all regulations. A thorough understanding of warehouse management systems and best practices in logistics is required. The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and a commitment to workplace Safety, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), are critical. This role may involve some physical tasks, including Lifting and moving materials, and requires problem-solving skills to address operational challenges. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping.
- Manage inventory control and conduct regular stock takes.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries.
- Implement and enforce strict Safety protocols and PPE usage.
- Supervise and train warehouse personnel.
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness.
- Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement in logistics.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse coordination or supervision.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Logistics operations and inventory control.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Ability to handle moderate Lifting tasks as needed.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
