About
*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate *Physical Therapist* to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will deliver high quality physical therapy treatment plans based of evaluations and patient goals. The Candidate should possess strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, with experience in diverse patient populations such as pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, and acute care. A commitment to patient-centered care and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.
*Responsibilities*
* Assess patients’ physical conditions through comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
* Implement physiotherapy interventions including manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and therapeutic exercises tailored to patient needs.
* Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to optimize recovery outcomes.
* Document all patient interactions accurately within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems while maintaining confidentiality.
* Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care.
* Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices and incorporate evidence-based techniques into treatments.
*Skills*
* Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice.
* Experience with care plans for diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, and patients in acute care or hospital environments.
* Proficiency in EMR systems for documentation and patient management.
* Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $46.00 per hour
