This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that products are processed and dispatched efficiently. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be responsible for a range of activities, including receiving, inspecting, storing, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. We are looking for individuals who are highly motivated, possess excellent attention to detail, and are committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work effectively in a team, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities within a dynamic warehouse setting. Compliance with all safety regulations, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is a non-negotiable aspect of this position. This role involves considerable physical activity, including standing for extended periods, walking, and regular lifting of items up to 45 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Receiving, verifying, and staging incoming merchandise.
- Accurately picking and packing customer orders.
- Preparing products for shipment and loading trucks.
- Stocking shelves and organizing warehouse inventory.
- Performing quality checks on products and orders.
- Operating powered industrial trucks and other material handling equipment.
- Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the distribution center.
- Ensuring adherence to all safety procedures and using required PPE.
- Participating in inventory management activities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous distribution center or warehouse experience is beneficial.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds.
- Commitment to following safety protocols and wearing PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
