Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery with precision and safety.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
- Transport inventory to and from various departments within the warehouse.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment, reporting any issues or maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by properly stocking and retrieving items.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) diligently.
- Follow directions from supervisors to ensure efficient workflow within the logistics team.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Handle tasks involving manual Lifting and material handling when required.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable forklift operating experience in a warehouse setting.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse logistics and inventory control principles.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including regular Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong commitment to Safety and adherence to operational standards.
- Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team structure.
- Must be capable of standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential.
