Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role is vital for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our warehouse. You will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing strategies to improve inventory accuracy. Your work will directly support our overall Logistics and operational efficiency. A strong understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse procedures is essential. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Monitor stock levels and identify low-stock items for reordering.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory items.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to improve receiving and put-away processes.
  • Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
  • Proper use and maintenance of required PPE .

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or relevant coursework is a plus.
  • Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software (WMS) and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics principles.
  • Ability to perform moderate physical tasks, including occasional Lifting up to 40 lbs.
