About
Seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator for our bustling Dallas, Texas warehouse. This is a critical role in our logistics chain, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our facility. You will operate forklifts to unload inbound shipments, move products to storage locations, and stage goods for outbound transportation. Maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all company safety policies, including the proper use of PPE, is non-negotiable. The ideal candidate will possess a valid forklift certification, a minimum of (X) years of experience, and a strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Transport materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Follow all established safety protocols and procedures, including mandated PPE usage.
- Maintain an orderly and clean work area.
- Assist with inventory control and stock rotation.
- Work collaboratively with other warehouse personnel to ensure smooth operations.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the logistics department.
Requirements:
- Valid Forklift Operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety best practices and hazard identification.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial judgment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to upholding safety standards and wearing appropriate PPE.
