Join Our Compassionate Team and Promote Health as a Priority The AI Learning Design Manager is essential in crafting, developing, and implementing impactful learning experiences that enhance our AI initiatives. This role involves significant autonomy and cross-team collaboration to align business objectives with effective learning outcomes. The Learning Design Manager assesses and organizes content, creates engaging solutions, and produces storyboards, scripts, performance support, mobile learning, and manuals. You will analyze learning needs in partnership with subject matter experts to inform course content, formulate clear learning objectives, and establish performance assessments to evaluate training success. You will ensure all course materials remain relevant and up-to-date, while tracking and analyzing program effectiveness based on participant satisfaction and job performance improvements. Additionally, you will guide and mentor facilitators, and utilize social media and collaborative tools to enhance learning opportunities. You will design curricula and training materials that meet specific needs, employing consultative skills to evaluate project relevance and necessity with clients. You will also advise executives on strategic functional matters, utilizing independent judgment and decision-making skills to navigate complex issues related to your responsibilities. Leverage Your Skills to Make a Real Difference Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the main contact for all AI Learning program stakeholders, including executives, HR, and external partners. Collaborate with the Associate Director to represent the program at executive forums by defining roadmap, measurement strategies, learning priorities, and scaling initiatives. Work with communication teams to deliver timely updates and information to stakeholders. Develop comprehensive program timelines including milestones and KPIs for regular reporting. Lead and cultivate a high-performing team, emphasizing collaboration and alignment with organizational goals. Operations & Vendor Management: Address inquiries from the AI learning mailbox with prompt and professional responses. Manage vendor relationships to ensure program success and resource availability. Budgeting & Reporting: Oversee the entire AI Learning program budget lifecycle, from creation through tracking and expense management. Lead comprehensive reporting initiatives, including project plans, OKRs, executive summaries, and Steering Committee updates. Event Management: Supervise the planning and execution of all AI Learning events, ensuring quality experiences that align with program values. Coordinate efforts with supporting teams while maintaining accountability for successful outcomes. Documentation & Governance: Uphold strong documentation practices to promote transparency and informed decision-making. Develop and manage governance materials, ensuring clarity in program documentation and operating guidelines. Ensure successful delivery by coordinating with relevant teams and stakeholders. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in instructional design, learning design, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 4+ years leading corporate learning programs. 2+ years in AI or emerging technology training leadership. Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects with executive visibility. Demonstrated experience overseeing program budgets, including tracking and forecasting. Exceptional communication skills, able to engage and influence executive stakeholders. Experience in leading communications across diverse stakeholder groups, including HR and external vendors. Confidently represent the program in prominent forums. Proven ability to execute impactful events with meticulous attention to detail. Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellence in documentation practices, ensuring program records are clear and accessible. Proficiency in creating reports tailored for various audiences (OKRs, project plans, executive summaries, steering committee updates). Skill in productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint; SharePoint; Teams). Preferred Qualifications: Program management (PgMP) or project management certification (CAPM, PMP). Learning development certification (APTD, CPTD, Bob Pike, etc.). Experience in IT, healthcare, or insurance industries. Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Planner, JIRA Align, MS Project) is a plus. Important Information: Candidates must reside within a commutable distance as this position operates on a hybrid work arrangement (approximately 3 days in-office). Preferred locations include: Washington, D.C. metropolitan area Louisville, KY metropolitan area Denver, CO metropolitan area Dallas, TX metropolitan area Ft. Lauderdale, FL metropolitan area Some travel may be required based on the candidate's location, anticipated not to exceed 20%. This position utilizes an interviewing platform called HireVue to streamline our hiring process. HireVue allows for flexible scheduling while connecting us with candidates effectively. To ensure optimal work efficiency, self-provided internet service must meet the minimum requirements of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed. Both wireless and wired connections are advised, while satellite, cellular, or microwave connections are permissible only with prior approval. Employees in California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota who work from home will receive bi-weekly internet expense reimbursements. Humana will provide employees who work from home or in a hybrid capacity with adequate business-related telephone equipment. 40 Compensation Range:
This posting reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment. The range is $94,900 - $130,500 per year, subject to geographic location and individual factors such as experience, education, and skills.
