Securitas Technology Corporation (STC) is experiencing remarkable growth and is looking for motivated, team-oriented individuals to join us as Embedded Service Technicians. In this exciting role, you will play a critical part in delivering exceptional customer service on STC products directly at customer sites. You'll be the go-to person for resolving any post-installation issues related to security systems and equipment, alongside taking on special project work when required. Responsibilities: Service and maintain intrusion, CCTV, and access control security systems. Execute scheduled preventative maintenance on various equipment/systems as per contract agreements, including inspection, adjustment, cleaning, and calibration to ensure optimal functionality. Complete maintenance tasks efficiently to minimize emergency calls and strive for zero call backs. Assist with the launch of new equipment or system installations, making necessary adjustments to ensure operational effectiveness. Plan basic electrical equipment installations and support the commissioning and testing of new systems. Maintain a professional image in both personal and vehicle appearance. Perform tasks safely and within budget requirements. Build and nurture positive customer relationships to enhance contract retention. Ensure adherence to company policy on documentation and proprietary information management. Stay updated on product and technology innovations. Participate in training programs as required. Job Requirements: High School diploma or GED; Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems is preferred. Must hold an EL06 License. A minimum of 1-2 years experience in installing and/or servicing Access Control and CCTV systems. Certifications such as CCure 900, Lenel, and Victor/Video Edge are highly valuable. Ability to troubleshoot door hardware, software house controllers, automatic door openers, cameras, and media converter fiber/IP technology. Strong working knowledge of Windows Server and Client environments as well as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Strong time management skills and a positive attitude with a robust work ethic. Ability to climb ladders up to 24 feet and lift items weighing up to 75 pounds. Availability for on-call work on a rotational basis to cover after-hours and weekend emergencies. A valid state driver's license without restrictions is necessary.
