Responsibilities: Learn about Orkin's termite protection services and make strategic recommendations to customers. Perform comprehensive inspections from attics to crawlspaces, allowing you to solve problems and establish trust with customers. Utilize training to recommend the best pest solutions for each customer's unique needs. Prospect for new business and work with assigned leads, supported by a robust advertising budget. Schedule and conduct in-home sales appointments to explain Orkin's products and services. Inspect various areas of the home and make recommendations based on your findings, ensuring clear explanations. Qualifications: No prior experience required - training will be provided! High School Diploma or equivalent is necessary. A valid driver's license with a good driving record is required. Ability to pass a drug screening and background check is essential. Willingness to obtain the necessary pesticide license/certification (company-paid). Comfortable working independently in the field while engaging with customers. Work Environment: The first month of training will take place in the field alongside an experienced Orkin Pro team, offering practical insights into operations and customer interactions. Ability to safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight limits. Expected to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Willingness to access crawl spaces, attics, and rooftops; ability to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crawl is essential. Compliance with PPE requirements, including potential use of an OSHA-compliant respirator. Readiness to work in various weather conditions.
