About
We are seeking a motivated, full-time Optometrist to perform comprehensive eye examinations using advanced testing equipment and specialized processes. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing top-notch care, educating patients about eye health, and prescribing glasses and contact lenses. We see all ages and most of our patients are healthy families looking to maintain great vision.
*Responsibilities:*
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations for both adults and children
- Diagnose eye-related conditions, health problems, and vision disorders
- Prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses
- Educate patients on proper eye care and contact lens use
- Lasik surgery co-management
- Maintain accurate patient records and detailed notes for reference
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care
- Help train clinic assistants as needed
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in optometry
*Qualifications:*
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
- Current Texas therapeutic optometry license in good standing
- Strong diagnostic skills with clinical knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport with patients of all ages
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks
- Experience with contemporary optometric technologies and equipment
Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
