About
We are looking for a skilled and certified Forklift Operator to join our busy logistics center in Detroit, Michigan. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials throughout the warehouse. This includes handling palletized goods, raw materials, and finished products with precision. You will perform daily inspections of your forklift equipment to ensure optimal safety and functionality, reporting any maintenance needs promptly. Maintaining a clean and organized work area, particularly around loading docks and storage zones, is essential. Strict adherence to all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and the proper use of all required PPE is non-negotiable. Experience with various forklift types and a strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols are a must. While the primary focus is forklift operation, occasional lifting and physical tasks may be required.
