Join our essential logistics team as a Warehouse Worker in Washington, D.C.! We are looking for dedicated individuals to perform a variety of tasks crucial to the efficient operation of our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from shelves, packing and shipping orders, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to following safety procedures. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual equipment.
- Stock and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times, including safety shoes and gloves.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Contribute to efficient logistics operations.
- Follow all instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety and the importance of PPE.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic.
- Familiarity with general logistics concepts is beneficial.
- Willingness to follow all safety guidelines.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
