Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Material Handler to join our facility in Madison, Wisconsin. This position plays a critical role in the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics chain. You will be responsible for managing the movement of materials, ensuring they are accurately tracked, stored, and retrieved. Key duties include receiving raw materials, stocking finished goods, and supporting production lines. Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, identify, and store incoming materials and products.
  • Transport materials to and from various departments using appropriate equipment.
  • Accurately record inventory movements and update system records.
  • Assist in maintaining organized and clutter-free storage areas.
  • Support production by delivering materials as required.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of PPE.
  • Conduct regular checks of equipment and report any malfunctions.
  • Perform tasks that involve significant lifting, often exceeding 50 lbs, with proper technique.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics and supply chain process.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
  • Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment (certification may be required or provided).
  • Physical stamina and the ability to handle frequent lifting and moving of materials.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and experience using PPE.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
