Key duties include receiving raw materials, stocking finished goods, and supporting production lines. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming materials and products.
- Transport materials to and from various departments using appropriate equipment.
- Accurately record inventory movements and update system records.
- Assist in maintaining organized and clutter-free storage areas.
- Support production by delivering materials as required.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of PPE.
- Conduct regular checks of equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Perform tasks that involve significant lifting, often exceeding 50 lbs, with proper technique.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics and supply chain process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment (certification may be required or provided).
- Physical stamina and the ability to handle frequent lifting and moving of materials.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and experience using PPE.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
