Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and certified Forklift Operator to join our advanced distribution center in Boise, Idaho. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our warehouse. Your expertise with forklifts will ensure that goods are loaded, unloaded, and transferred accurately and without damage. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, a commitment to safety protocols, and the ability to operate various types of forklifts. You will work closely with our logistics team to manage inventory flow and maintain operational efficiency. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) to move, stack, and unstack pallets of goods.
  • Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
  • Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
  • Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
  • Follow all safety procedures and warehouse protocols.
  • Assist with inventory management, including put-away and retrieval of stock.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring clear pathways.
  • Collaborate with other warehouse associates to ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications:
  • Valid forklift operator certification.
  • Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and material handling principles.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
