Seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our logistics operations in Boise, Idaho. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout the warehouse. This role is essential for maintaining the flow of inventory and ensuring timely order fulfillment. Your duties will include operating various types of forklifts to load and unload trucks, transport goods to and from storage areas, and assist with order picking and stocking. A strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures is critical, and all operators must strictly adhere to safety guidelines and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Maintaining the equipment you operate and reporting any issues is also part of the job. This position requires excellent spatial awareness, precision, and the ability to work in a dynamic warehouse environment. While forklift operation is the primary focus, you may also be required to assist with other warehouse tasks, which could include lifting items up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials.
- Transport inventory to and from designated warehouse locations.
- Stack and stage goods appropriately.
- Perform routine checks on forklift equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Assist with inventory management and order picking as needed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with warehouse team to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and PPE.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 50 lbs when necessary.
- Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
- Experience with logistics operations is a plus.
