You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, managing stock rotation, and implementing inventory control procedures. Responsibilities:
- Conduct frequent cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitor stock levels, identify reorder needs, and manage stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO).
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Train warehouse staff on inventory control best practices and **PPE** usage.
- Collaborate with receiving and shipping departments to ensure proper handling of goods.
- Ensure all **safety** regulations are strictly followed.
- Assist with **lifting** and moving inventory during audits and adjustments.
- Contribute to the overall optimization of our **logistics** processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency with WMS software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to **lift** up to 50 pounds.
- Thorough understanding of **safety** protocols and **PPE** in a warehouse setting.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of **logistics** principles.
